What is a NFT Marketplace?
NFTs are virtual tokens that represent ownership of something inherently distinct and scarce, whether it be a physical or digital item, such as a soundtrack, artwork, a collectible, real estate or an in-game item. Unlike regular cryptocurrencies like bitcoin or fiat money like the U.S dollar, these special types of digital assets cannot be mutually exchanged for one another because each token has a specific value based on its unique traits and attributes.
In this way, NFT marketplaces allow digital collectors to buy, sell and create their own tokens that represent ownership of unique, tangible and intangible items. NFT marketplaces are platforms where NFTs can be stored, displayed, traded and in some cases minted (created).
What is the new NFT Marketplace Template from Bunzz available on Bubble?
This new template allows any Bubble user to create a NFT marketplace, while learning how to use bunzz plugin.
Among its features, we can find: “The administrator can create (mint) his/her own NFT”, “ Owners can sell their NFTs”, “Users can buy listed NFTs”, “Users can see their owned NFTs that are transferred on this marketplace”.

What is the difference between RARIBLE and Bunzz’s NFT Marketplace Template?
Rarible is one of the top blockchain-based marketplace for tokenized digital art and NFTs. It’s an Ethereum-based platform that facilitates the creation, sale, and purchase of ownership rights to digital works of art via NFTs (non-fungible tokens). Rarible makes use of two NFT token standards: ERC-721, which allows for the creation of one-off unique items, and ERC-1155, which allows for the creation of multiple editions of an item.
To use Rarible’s Ethereum-based NFT marketplace, you must first have an Ethereum wallet, such as Metamask, and some ether (ETH). Users can purchase ETH via an exchange, or on the Rarible crypto platform with a credit card. Once users have linked their wallets, they can browse Rarible’s NFT marketplace for items to purchase. The platform displays top sellers and NFT art collections, and allows users to search for NFTs via categories such as photography, games, and memes. NFT sellers can choose whether to set a fixed sale price for their asset, or to conduct an auction. Additionally, if the user is an artist or creator, they can use Rarible to mint their own NFTs.
In contrast, this first NFT Marketplace template by Bunzz is more modest when it comes to functionalities and possibilities compared to Rarible’s full functionalities. By using Bunzz’s template on Bubble the user can create their own NFT collection (NFT smart contract) by Bunzz, but it’s a great tool for developers to save building time.
